We start with a FREE 30 minute consultation discussing your needs and how coaching will work for you. I will give you an overview of what is expected from you, recommend a coaching package and we will decide on the best way forward for you.
How it works: Together we work through the parts of the programme that are most valuable for your growth, well-being & happiness.
The first steps to a more positive, happy you including finding 'Peace' through forgiveness, understanding your 'Pace' of change and which stage of change you are in, understanding the power of your 'Personal Story', viewing your life as a whole and deciding on what's a 'Priority' for you now.
Activities you can do straight away that will lift your mood, increase your well-being and make you happier.
You will take an online psychometric test, called Realise2. Here you'll rediscover your strengths, what you are brilliant at and what energises you. This will increase your self-worth and self-confidence. (For the benefits of strengths see 'Why Strengths' video below). You will explore your sense of 'Purpose', the vision you have for your life, what you are aiming for and why it matters to you. You will connect with your dream life (your 'Paradise'), what activities are your 'Passion' and make you feel 'in the flow' and what 'Principles' are important to you. We will plan your lifestyle around those very strengths and 'Proficiencies' that energise you.
4) Peak Positives:
Here you will explore the relationship you have with other 'People'. You'll learn how to love yourself more and how to tap into your 'Positive Emotions' more. You will learn to 'Plan Ahead', by setting goals, so you get from where you are now, to where you want to be. You will become more 'Present-minded' so you are not anxious about the future or depressed about the past. You will learn how to be an optimist and how to raise your positive ratio. The result for you will be more energy, happiness and a much broader 'Perspective' on your life.
5) Progression: Helpful tools and techniques that will keep you motivated and moving forward so your lifestyle change lasts.
You will increase your self-awareness of your thoughts and 'Police' your negative thinking. You will 'Probe' your lifestyle for needless negativity and gain the 'Pluck' you need to stop negative behaviours. You will learn to 'Prevent' over-thinking through distraction and to 'Pause' between thought and action. With 'Practice' you will create better thinking habits, which in turn will change your behaviour and your emotions/mood. I'll support you to manage your thoughts, so you learn to think non-negatively.
My way of working is compassionate and collaborative yet goal-focused and evidence based. I ooze energy and optimism. I'm at home with resistance and can accept and challenge yours. My Core Principles
I use evidence-based tools and techniques from Positive Psychology. My coaching begins by identifying what is positive in you and connecting to it in ways that heighten your energy and vision for change. I believe what people focus on becomes their reality and that the language people use creates their reality. I therefore take particular care to encourage a positive focus and use positive language in my sessions because that will lead you to construct the positive future you desire. If you have a particularly desirable image of the future, you are likely to behave in ways that will bring it about. You are not “pushed” by your past as much as “pulled” by the image you hold of your future.
